Long Long Ago

Just suddenly felt like blogging after quite some time... haha..

Well, just want to do a recap of 2009 before it ends.

This year has been ups and downs for me... (-.- whose isn't...) LOL

Anyway, just really wanna thank God for where He has brought me to today, be it in cg, my guitar, the people I get to know this year, people that I've already known I get to know them better this year, my ministry, etc... lots to name.

Speaking about ministry, kind of had some stuffs in mind after I 'graduated' from, but along the way I sidetracked, so lost focus. After hearing what Yong Hui shared just now, was kind of reminded once again... So I'll just start planning, in 2010, I gotta at least learn from him and other leaders as much as I can, do as much as I can before I start my 2 year 'jail'... haha

Wasted too much time this year, not a very fruitful one, need to do even better in 2010. :)
Had fun times with different groups of people this year, different kinds of playing styles, different kinds of memories. :) Love it. :)

Just wanna thank everyone around me, the leaders that had been sowing into my life, people that are always there when I needed them, and I really hope that there's at least one thing that I've impacted someone or somebody in their lives this year. :)

Hoping for a better new year ahead, looking forward to countdown!!! :D:D

Made 2 wasted trips before cgm...
1) I forgot that the venue is at church, and I went to NTU instead...
2) I took 179 to go back to church...but it was 179A...it went straight to Boon Lay interchange...

Anyway, today's cgm is great! And we had Koreans coming to join our cgm!! They are here to see what is CHC all about, and what is our cgm like... interesting...

Took some photos with them, they went back to their hotel after that, the rest of the cg went to fellowship at nti coffeeshop... we went at the wrong timing... The place was SUPER NOISY... because there's some events down there... I can't believe I had to talk by shouting... which was uncommon when we were usually there...

Well, tomorrow is going to watch G.I. Joe - Rise Of The Cobra with mum and bro...haha.

PS - The facebook seems to have problem... weird...

I need a breakthrough

I seriously need a breakthrough... Or should I say I need a lot of breakthroughs? The key down here is to pray...and here's the problem... I'm not praying as often as how I'm supposed to... What should I do??

Plus... I'm sick and tired of this on-off thing... If I'm not wrong, this year has already happened the third time, including the recent one... I mean... when and how is this thing going to stop? Until I've settled the thing or it is just going to keep coming towards me??

Finally, I can start typing on my blog again... a lot of things happened in between though, can't remember most of it, haha..

Anyway, just feel like saying something about myself down here...

Power!!!...

Just finished watching match between Arsenal and Liverpool, 4-4. Arshavin scored 4 goals for Arsenal, while Torres and Benayoun scored 2. Grr...

Well...went to camp last week, tired but fun...think I better don't say too much about the camp stuffs...haha....

I want a new laptop...I want to pray for direction...my calling, relationship, communicating with people and etc...Ahhhh

God...Help me...Lead me...Guide me...Show me a vision or something to make me clear of the things I'm puzzled with...

Ok, just update a little first.

Went to watch 2 Man Utd matches at Jason Jiang's house...Haha, one was against Inter, their other was against Porto...

Had fun at his house...haha.

Well...my laptop's down...so I don't think I can blog, or tweet or use facebook, or check my mail that often...sad......

Anyway, I can't wait for hte Easter weekend tomorrow!! It's going to be great!!!

Men's United!!!

Came back a hour plus ago from the Men's Conference.

Pastor Phil is powerful!!!!!

And I saw someone unexpected...

Kenneth Lur!!!! It's been like one year plus since I saw him, missed the days where the whole group played soccer together...

Early afternoon, about one plus to two plus, went down to a warehouse to collect plastic chairs for the conference overflow, double days of moving chairs(Thurs helped out in expo shifting). haha. Blue-black was doubled, Gerald had tripled...haha. But, it was worth all the hard work. =D

Today is maximum building plan...the building was maxed out!! First time doing such service. Haha...

Went out to have dinner/supper with Dev and the rest. Vincent drove us home, thanks!!

Now...quite tired...but don't feel like sleeping yet, I'm still thinking should I go join Joshua and the rest to play basketball at 11am at Khatib...so far, so early....

Great Experience

Well, can't really remember last week, only remembered that Sunday was membership week, so we helped out in like moving the tables, and helping them to lay the certs and stuffs.

Yesterday night, went to JJ's house, we had a great time laying hands, praying by faith and being led by the spirit while praying. It's indeed a great experience...

Today went to last session of zone's bs. Had great fun also. Haha.

Quite tired and troubled now...arrghh...

Work...

Hmm, firstly, shall thank Joshua Ong for this work, even though it's just a short one week, but I do have fun working with him and his cg members...haha.

Funny thing is, when I work, automatically around 8-9 pm I'll start to feel my eyelids are extremely heavy, and I'll doze off... Happened on Tuesday Leaders' meeting, and Wednesday bs...thank God Thursday cg didn't happen...

Thurday work was considered quite slack, after lunch break, most of the people either sleep in between the shelfs to avoid being caught, and some chit chatted...

Friday, seems like we were simply paid to have fun...haha, Joshua Ong need to learn guitar, so I offered to teach him what I know...haha, and we just played guitar with his cg members all the way till end of work...hahaha

Yesterday went to watch 'Bloody Valentine', I was being tricked...I saw on Youtube that there's 3D version...I was thinking, don't tell me there isn't any 3D version in Singapore, and it only has it in America................... -.-

Today, went down for leaders' meeting for ushers, was support IC, and today in a sense I think I improved!! I no longer do a job as a normal usher, but instead I start to task people with jobs...Today's service was a great one, Pst Tan preached a great message, was quite impacted by it.

After service there's the makeup preaching test for the people who missed it the other time...ahh...I didn't manage to finish within the time frame...ahhhh....haha, but it was a good experience though. Be it for my first time preaching to a crowd, I think I'm quite happy with my preaching...haha...

Joined some of the people from NXGen for basketball...long time since I played again...had fun playing with Pst CK...

Took Dev's car back to Senja(Thx bro!!), chatted with Jia Jun quite a lot, he also shared with me the revelations that he had. Talking to him can really learn a lot of stuffs...haha, then from there I took bus home...very tired now...haha

Loving People

In the world nowadays, people only cared about themselves rather than other people. Some Christians are also like that.

5 love languages

1. Words Of Affirmation.

Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life are in the power of the tongue. And those who love it will eat its fruit.

(The words that you speak can determine a person’s life or death. Give people affirmation when they need it, don’t be stingy.)

2. Quality Time

(Out of quality time, there will be quality conversation. Spend time that will help you get to know them better.)

3. Gift Giving

(Give them gifts that will really cost you something, and not something that you don’t want or don’t need.)

4. Acts Of Service

Galatians 5:13 – For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

(Serve them, even though they don’t appreciate it, and also doing things you know the other person would like you to do.)

5. Physical Touch

Luke 5:13 – Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him.

(Even Jesus knows the power of physical touch, He can just say a word, and the leper can be cleansed, but He chose to touch the leper instead of saying the word. Jesus is willing to touch those that are called ‘unclean’ by other people.)

(Loving people is actually a commandment given by God.)

John 13:34 – A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Conclusion: Loving people is never easy, especially those that have hurt us before. I believe some of you may ask yourself, ‘How is it possible to love someone that have hurt me before?’ Well, Jesus loves you even though you’ve hurt Him before. This is call unconditional love. Your heart can only exist one of these, love or hate. When there’s love, there’ll be no hate, same for the reverse. When you love people, do you look at their outer appearances? E.g. the mentally disabled, do you feel that they are somewhere in a level lower than you? Or the unchurched, do you treat them the way you treat your brothers and sisters in Christ?

Well, this is just a simple message though...haha.

Friday went down to expo to help out in chair arrangement, well, in the end didn't do chair arrangement, but do the covering of the black cloth. One new thing learnt! Haha...

Sat, skipped pm with usher leaders...went for fellowship cg at k-box. It was fun!! Well, when did singing turn out to be not fun for me? haha...was very tired on that day though...

Yesterday, resting week, team 16 didn't have to serve, morning met up with cg for fellowship breakfast, then for service. It was the finale of the relationship series, there's still part 2!! WOW!! After that went to help out Huiling in the cg offering thing. Was supposed to change clothes, but the weather just turn dark, so in the end, West Coast trip was cancel, the games that were planned outside were turned to indoor games.

Haha. Had fun also, then went to eat dinner with Xiu Wen, Huiling, Xuelin, and Ruth. We went to eat 'Jia Jia Mian'...lol, then went home by bus, reach home about 10 plus. Bathed. Played guitar till I sleep...lol

Today went for first day of work...Met up with Joshua Ong at MRT station...I'm so tired...ahhhhh

Wee...

One week has passed...again...time just seems to fly...haha

Anyway, past one week...don't want to talk about the tests...haha

Tuesday had a combined leaders meeting with Pastor Tan, Pastor talked to us about leaving a self-centered world to a selfless world, by not living our daily lives with just only 'me, I, mine, etc' mindset, and start to live lives that think for others. He also showed us a movie called inconvenient truth. A video which talks about a Presidential Election Candidate Al Gore that lose to George W. Bush by just 1% in a election of a city in America. He's now teaching people around the world what the world is actually facing right now... The worsen effects of GLOBAL WARMING...Which I find it quite interesting and scary... If we are to continue the way we are now, we are going to cause a natural catastrophe that none of us would ever asked for...

Thurs had cgm, it was a fun and great meeting. Haha...usual, my fingers' skin at the tip start to peel off again, and I try my best to discipline myself, not to peel off the hardened skin that had formed on the tip of my fingers, if not it'll take a long time to form again...haha...

Sun met up with Ren Shen early in the morning...and guess what...we reach church on time!!! It's seriously on time!!! We reached exactly at 10 am....LOL...Started doing support, went down to do comms, first time... Went up for general briefing, serve as traffic 2...ahhh....
Today really went the extra mile today, by holding the big and heavy umbrella(due to my size...was considered big and heavy...hahahaha), just escorting people either across the road or to the bus-stop...well, the past me, will be very reluctant, now, God has indeed changed me alot, I really don't mind doing all these for the people, even though my hands are trembling while holding the umbrella, I'm drenched in the rain, a simple thank you and a smile from the people can really make all these things worth it...

Went to join cg after service to celebrate Kenny's birthday, I didn't join the ushers...haha, but today joined the cg had a great time of fellowship. Went to Cafe Cartel to eat. (Kenny, you're the first person that I accompany to eat so ex on a person's birthday!! You should feel honored!! Heehee...joking joking... Hope you had a great time...) After dinner, Kenny says his present, which is a vest, seems to be a little too big, so we went to change, but can't find the size, so in the end gave up...haha..

In the end left, Xiu Wen, Wen Shun, Kenny and me, we went to taka one corner to sit down and chit chat, and a fruitful chat. Shared some experiences and also meaningful talks. Really had a great time.

Well, now got to study for my last paper...irritating...

Well...lately like to do summarising...don't know why...haha...Anyway, sum up the weekend.

Saturday -- Slept at 6 plus in the morning...playing and studying at the same time... woke up at around 5 plus in the evening...in between till 5 plus I woke up and sleep back... Mom came back, went to watch 'Underworld - Rise Of The Lycans' via internet booking. Then came back...wanted to sleep, but can't, so stayed up.

Sunday -- Stayed up till morning 6, then ate a light breakfast, then rushed out from house at 6:32 am. Reached JE at 7:15 am... which I think was... way too early... Reached church around 7:35 am... helped Xiu Wen to meet up the people who are coming.

Went to Best coffeeshop to eat breakfast... went back to church to do recruitment. Didn't really recruited anyone...seems like people are afraid of ushers...why?? why?? LOL

After that went for NXGen...I can't take it...keep dozing off... but at the ending part. AWESOME. Dev laid hands on us. WOO!!! And it seems that the song 'I want to sing' keeps making me cry... especially the chorus part, I just always have a scene for each sentence sang.

Went to JP with Xiu Wen, Huiling, Ruth and Patrick. Patrick went home after meeting his friend, Ruth went to join her friends, Xiu Wen is meeting her friend to have dinner, so in the meanwhile, Huiling and I accompanied her. When her friend came, we left, so Huiling and I went to take a walk and chit chat.

Who knows, when Huiling and I aimlessly walk back towards the old JP, we met Xiu Wen and her friend walking towards us... Xiu Wen wants to eat BK...LOL

Had a good fellowship with the both leaders, and Xiu Wen friend...Haha.

Hmm.

Just post what happened since Monday.

Monday -- Initially was planning to go pm, but overslept...sigh...woke up, go to school, finished my VB assignment...

Tues -- Went to morning pm, went to school to submit my WEBP assignment, then went to Wei Kiat house with Wei Siong, then went back home to sleep...

Wed -- Went to morning pm, then went back home, have a 2 hour rest, then went back to school to take exam...

Thurs -- Slept all the way till afternoon, then went down around 4 plus to meet Gary to practice. After evening pm went to eat, then went home...

Fri -- Went to morning pm, chatted with Joshua Tham while walking from church to Boon Lay MRT Station...LOL... Went back home to sleep, sort of overslept...went to cgm, which Xiu Wen is currently looking after Elaine's cg, went to listen to sermon, then waited for Chong and Ben to come out from debriefing. Went to Lot 1 mac, have dinner(sort of call supper already, because it was already 12...), chit chat. Had fun. Haha.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day...or in fact it's now...no one ask me out...HAHAHAHAHAHA...

Blog before I continue my work...

Basically for the past one week, nothing really big happened...

Thurs -- Had cgm. And it's a good one!!! Xiu Wen shared a sermon from her own revelations and stuff. Very good!! And that day cgm, praise I played till my hand seems to be more 'bigger' than usual, and during worship, I felt the presence of God when I played!! That feeling was so great!!!

Sun -- Was East IC again. But this time round did abit bad than previously...because I just can't seem to do what an IC is supposed to do...all I did was like a normal usher job...I just couldn't figure out what is my problem actually...arrgh... Today Pst Kong's message was funny!!! And there's part 2 next week...wonder what will he share with us next week...haha

Changed the plans to go Hui Ping's house for steamboat to eat opposite of the church at the coffeeshop. Ben Aw, Gerald, Boon Xiong and me went to NXGen thing, so we missed Lau Yu Sheng...never wait for us...LOL... After dinner, went back to church to maximum floor plan for the morning pm. Exercise!!! LOL.

One thing...I can't let this thought overtake me again...I'm trying not to let it affect me again...like how it did in the past...never...God...give me strength...I need You...

Well, basically, last week got nothing much happened...

Didn't met up with the people, no cgm, so the whole week was stressing and nervous...

Yesterday, read the bible, and God seems to speak to me in another verse...

Seems like I've been too anxious...and I forgot to seek Him...guess it's true...I was too anxious and too nervous over my assignments...and I didn't seek God...

Well, God is good. My HTML assignment was initially today, but to my surprise it was postponed to Wednesday!! My programming assignment due to a large segment was something I didn't learn this semester, my lecturer told me to come today, to teach me and extend my deadline a little!! WOW!!!

Thank God!!

Great...

Well...yeah...Great...fall sick on the second day of Chinese New Year...

Morning was having breathing difficulty, afternoon onwards I just start to have fever...

Right now...not totally recovered yet, although my fever is gone...guess my body immune system is not online yet...so now I'm still rather weak to small sicknesses like flu...

I'm not those that would fall sick easily...but, guess it's been too long, that's why I would suffer even more...arrgh...

Plus I've got 3 assignments at hand...2 on 2nd Feb, 1 on 6th Feb...and I don't know how to do...who can help me??? AHHHHHHHHH.....

Going to powerhouse to pray later......

Heehee...I'm squeezing 2 days into a post again...haha

Fri: Met up with Abby for lunch, since I'll be around Raffles area, so in the end we met up at Chinatown. She wanted to bring me to look for a fishball noodle stall that sells nice food, but she forgotten which was the one...haha. My specs got loose at the screw part, and the lens came out, but thank God, my degrees wasn't that deep, so I can still see normally without my specs, only the words are blur, and faraway things are blur. Haha. Walked back to her office with her, and along the way got to know on the same afternoon she accompanied 3 person including me...O.O very busy busy busy...haha. After she planned to drop by and look for me, end up she went to the wrong shop...-.- LOL

Anyway, waited for my mum while playing my psp, went to eat dinner with her, chatted with her alot...haha, then we went back home.

Sat: Today was a long day...Slept at around 3 plus in the morning, woke up at 810, got down to NTU to prepare for cg, and my fingers like usual, seems like the skin are peeling off on my 3 fingers...haha, I'm used to it. Today Huiling took everything. *Clap Clap* Good job!! Haha. Then went back to church area with the cg, then I went down straight down to B2 after buying drinks for Jason and myself. Served as internal today, was a good exposure, as I never done internal during big days before...haha, furthermore today's overflow was like...wow...

Had fun stacking chairs with the people, and we just went to slack around at cafe, and I created a lot of stupid stuffs...haha. Went to NTI to eat with the people, and Bo Zong has kind of join Ren Shen and me for crapping, and we have company!!! LOL... Got to know a fellow SP student who's in the same building as me in Group 12...haha. Well, it's fun playing with them all, very fun. Shall stop here...haha, tomorrow I'm not going anywhere, finally! A rest! LOL...

Anyway, just want to blog about Wednesday and today's events.

Wed -- Hmm, had extra lessons till 4 pm, so I chose to go straight to RW for bs rather than going home, as I know I'll slack around in my house for quite some time before I actually leave. Haha. Well, I can't find people to accompany me, Gerald in school, Abby going home to eat, Joshua Tham on the way back home from town, Jia Jun still in school, so...the only One which I know who will always be there for me no matter what.

My Daddy God!!!!

Well, indeed it's a good time fellowshipping with Him, and it's been a long time since I went to powerhouse to pray, and like Xiu Wen used to tell us, 'Powerhouse is not called Powerhouse for nothing..', that's why, I believed, whatever the prayers I prayed down there, plus all my own quiet time and stuffs, my prayers will come to past very very soon!!!!

Then I went to have my dinner alone, and..................................................

I scalded my tongue...Great...

Finished FT II, wonder what's the next lesson installed for me??

Thurs -- Woke up with a very very blank mind this morning...Went to school, had a two hours lecture before school ends, and I slept through everything...and I got up with even more blanks...sigh...

Went for Poh's session, and Poh is just great!!!! Q&A session was funny...haha

Had a good chat with Jia Jun on the bus also, spiritually. Haha. He's indeed a great brother!

Having cg on Saturday before service...got to rush!!

Spring Cleaning...

Well, today, helped my father to spring clean my room, and I don't really like it...

Because of the dust...Arrgh...

I'm very sensitive to dust, so whenever I breathe in a little, I'll just keep sneezing non-stop, and my nose will turn very red...

Well, but at least, the bottom of my bed is clean!! Haha...

Initially was supposed to blog about this in the morning, which was like 3 plus a.m. when I reach home, but I really need to sleep, so I'll just do this in the night...haha.

Firstly, got to thank Jasmine for this opportunity...haha, because she's working in Gatsby, so the company organise this dance competition, so we can go in for 'free' through her as guests...haha.

Met up with Joshua Tham at Admiralty, we then took the red line all the way down to Orchard...we then met Yosephina there, then waited for Abby to come, then saw Sijia, we then walk to Far East to eat KFC...Xin Yi came, followed by Gerald, then Jian Xing...

Took bus to Zouk, Greg was in the bus...alighted at the stop, walk towards the destination...saw Jasmine, did some signing up thing, got our goodie bags, got a sticker, when it's 9 pm, we just went in.





The security was at the door checking bags, checking whether the guests were bringing any food or water bottle in, well, the brothers stuffed all their goodie bags with me, and the security was kind of sick and tired to search my bag because it was quite stuffy, so he just asked me is there any water bottle in my bag, while trying to feel for a bottle at the bottom of my bag, and I just replied him, 'Umbrella', and I passed..haha... Another part, was the checking of IC...the guy was looking at my IC, then he looked up to me, then he looked at my IC again to confirm then he look up again then he let me in...so funny...haha, anyway, I'm officially legal to go in though...haha

Went in, we all shared together a total of 3 jugs of Vodka...and some of us just ordered individual drinks, and I ordered tiger...LOL

The winners from the competition were actually from O School!!! Floor technique crew!! And...the bar crew I think, dismantled the stage in less than 20 mins...OMG...We then went down to like dance around...haha..

After that, we went to eat roti prata, before going back home. Took cab with Jian Xing and this usher...I know how to pronounce, but I don't know her name is which spelling...so...haha...reached home around 2:50...slept at 4...

Woke up at 8 plus to 9, because I got to meet Ben Chan in church early...

In the end, met him up at Phoenix LRT instead...LOL

Went to church, fellowship around, went for service...Finally!! I can sit with the cg!! It's been like...hmmm, about 7 weeks after Asia Conference I've been serving? Haha...finally today can have some rest...haha...

Today was good! Pastor Tan was great!! Increase in our prayer life. We then move up to riviera to give Elaine a surprise, celebrate her birthday. Haha. Had fun around.

Initially I thought I can't go for Pst CK's discipleship thing, but because my mum had some stuffs cropped up at home, so in the end I can make it! PTL! The whole thing was great! We then went to JP Starbucks to meet up with the rest, I stayed with them for awhile until my mum reaches...haha.

Went to do some shopping with her...and finally I can go out with my mum again after like for sometime since I was busy for the past few weeks...haha

Anyway...where can I vent my frustrations on??!! I can't take it anymore!! Grr...LOL
